It all started in early 1999. Asked by a fellow dressage rider to help a young injured horse with its recovery. The remarkable results of the bodywork sessions did not go unnoticed. Soon was asked to work on numerous horses with great results. Adding to her natural talents, began formal massage training in 2003.
Previously, in the late 90's became a holistic practitioner, specializing in testing analysis for humans, horses and pets.
A passion about bodywork in general, organically turned into a combined practice of Equine Bodywork and human Ortho/Med massage. (Pre- and post surgery. Cases such as hip, knee replacements, spinal cord injuries, rotator cuff, achilles tendon tears etc., etc. ). Ultimately, a main focus on Equine Bodywork working with international level show jumpers and dressage horses.
Even though earlier years were also spend as a classical ballet dancer, regional gymnastics competitor, and later as an assistant coach, high school basketball player and national league cricket player, began riding and showing at the age of 12 in Holland.
From the age of 13, exercised a string of talented show jumpers (1.30 - 1.50 meter jumpers) on weekends and during school vacations. In addition had the opportunity to attend countless international dressage and jumper shows in Holland and Belgium.
Solid European dressage training provides an edge in order to assist those interested clients, by utilizing the years of experience and knowledge in rebuilding and/or further developing the muscle system of the horse.
Her Foundation-in-Motion riding clinic is easily incorporated into the training program of every discipline of riding.
